The purpose of the SVHA is to provide an opportunity for students in the Seneca Valley School District to play competitive ice hockey under the auspices of Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (PIHL), to develop ice skating and hockey skills, to promote social relationships among its members, to engender community spirit and interest in ice hockey, to encourage scholastic achievement, and to help fulfill the financial obligations of the players.

Player Fees & Responsibilities
Any player who has committed to SVHA after tryouts and leaves SVHA while remaining a student in Seneca Valley School District will be responsible for 50% of the annual player fees if they leave SVHA prior to September 1.
Any player leaving SVHA after September 1st will be responsible for 100% of the annual player’s fees for the team they committed to.
